Book Notes: Lunchtime with the NZSO

Ever wanted to listen to a live chamber group while browsing for your next great read? Now you can!

Unity Books are proud to host New Zealand Symphony Orchestra members in the shop for a monthly series; Book Notes: Lunchtime with the NZSO.

Each month there will be different ensembles performing a range of pieces to delight our customers.

This month the NZSO presents violist Sophia Acheson playing an amazing work that she has devised for viola and loop pedal that features favourite classical works reimagined in ways that you have never heard them before!

They will also have some delightful (and more traditional) Mozart, his Duo KV 423 for flute and alto flute (originally for violin and viola) with Kirstin Eade and Bridget Douglas from the NZSO flute section.
