"Election Day of the Dead comprises seventy haiku selected from more than four hundred Doc Drumheller wrote while travelling in the USA, Nicaragua, Mexico, and El Salvador. His travels coincided with several international poetry festivals, the Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico, and the 2016 US presidential elections.
