Little Survivor: A Heartwarming Tale Of A Rescued Puppy

This story is about an abandoned puppy who faces challenges in the outside world. She becomes sad and scared. One day, she befriends an adult dog, Chloe, who gives her hope for a bright future. Later, a man brings Chloe home, leaving Lassie alone again. Soon after that, a woman crosses path with Lassie. Lassie is very sceptical about this stranger, but when the woman approaches her with food and water, Lassie remembers Chloe’s words and eventually relents when the woman carries her home. She soon becomes happy and healthy with lots of love and care from her new family.

Having taught English for 23 years in Malaysia and New Zealand, Vanitha Loganathan is a dedicated teacher with a Bachelor of Education – TESL (Hons) and CELTA qualification. Beyond her role as an educator, Vanitha is a dog lover. While living in Malaysia, she rescued and rehomed many homeless dogs and cats. With a passion for writing, she wrote several stories about her rescued pets, and articles about the welfare of homeless dogs, which were published in the leading national newspaper, The Star. She is also passionate about photography, and loves calligraphy. Vanitha now lives with her husband in Wellington.
