If deep sea exploration is as freaky to you as it is to me, this book is the perfect example of why you should stay far away from submarines and other aquatic adventures. Both romantic and deeply haunting, Julia Armfield portrays such a resounding feeling of wanting throughout this novel that I myself started to feel the emptiness felt by Miri and Leah. So much emotion packed into such a small amount of pages - this is one to keep an eye out for.
